Unique Expands EV Lineup with Alpha, VEO, Ultra Plus and Unique 80
Unique Motorcycles Expands Electric Bike Range in Pakistan
Unique Motorcycles has expanded its electric mobility portfolio in Pakistan with the introduction of four new lithium-powered models: Alpha, VEO, Ultra Plus and Unique 80. The launch marks another step in the company’s transition towards electric two-wheelers, offering customers more options for daily commuting and personal transportation. The new models are aimed at riders exploring alternatives to conventional petrol-powered motorcycles amid growing interest in affordable and more efficient mobility solutions.
More Than Two Decades of Experience in Pakistan’s Motorcycle Industry
Established in 2004 and operating under DS Motors (Pvt.) Ltd., Unique has developed its presence in Pakistan through petrol motorcycles, commercial vehicles and electric two-wheelers. Headquartered in Hyderabad, Sindh, the company has already entered the electric mobility segment with graphene-battery-powered motorcycles. Its latest move towards lithium-battery technology reflects its effort to broaden its product range and respond to changing transportation preferences.

Lithium Battery Technology Offers New Mobility Options
The four newly introduced models are part of Unique’s effort to provide electric transport options for riders with different needs, including those looking for a scooter-style design or a motorcycle for routine commuting. Lithium batteries can offer advantages over some conventional battery technologies, including higher energy density, lower weight and potentially longer service life. However, actual performance depends on battery chemistry, capacity, build quality and usage conditions. For buyers, factors such as riding range, charging time, battery warranty, replacement cost and after-sales support will remain important when comparing electric bikes.
Pakistan’s EV Policy Supports Electric Bike Adoption
Pakistan’s electric two-wheeler market is gradually developing as consumers and manufacturers explore alternatives to petrol-powered transport. The government’s New Energy Vehicles Policy 2025–30 aims to make 30% of new vehicle sales across targeted categories electric by 2030. It also includes measures to encourage local manufacturing, expand charging infrastructure and support electric bike purchases. Under the government’s subsidy framework, an allocation of Rs80,000 for eligible electric two-wheelers has also been reported, subject to the scheme’s conditions. These initiatives are intended to make electric mobility more accessible while reducing fuel consumption and transport-related emissions. MoI&P+2

Growing EV Market Creates Opportunities for Local Manufacturers
Electric bikes can offer lower day-to-day running costs because they do not require petrol or conventional engine oil changes. They may also produce less noise and have fewer moving mechanical parts than petrol motorcycles. However, affordability and long-term value depend on the purchase price, battery life, electricity costs, availability of replacement batteries and access to reliable servicing. As Pakistan works towards expanding its EV ecosystem, manufacturers such as Unique have an opportunity to contribute through product development, customer education and dealership support. The company has not provided detailed specifications, prices or riding ranges for the four new models in the information available; interested customers should contact its official channels or authorised dealers for confirmed details.
