Industry experts attributed the sharp rise mainly to government subsidies for electric vehicles, warning that demand could weaken if financial incentives are withdrawn. Meanwhile, Tesla increased its German sales by 224.6% to nearly 29,000 vehicles, while BYD recorded an even stronger 315% growth with more than 26,000 vehicles sold during the first six months of the year.
