Sazgar Announces Booking Launch for CKD TANK-500 as Part of NEV Expansion Strategy
Sazgar Engineering Works Limited has announced that it will start accepting bookings for its locally assembled (CKD) TANK-500 Hi4-T 4X4 2.0L Turbo Automatic models from Monday, January 26, 2026. The company shared the update through an official notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday.

According to the disclosure, the TANK-500 will be available in both plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) variants. Sazgar further stated that complete pricing and booking procedures will be revealed later on Tuesday through its electronic and social media platforms. The move is in line with the company’s earlier roadmap announced in September 2025, which outlined plans to introduce new PHEV models, including the TANK-500 and CANNON, by March 31, 2026. The development reflects Sazgar’s ongoing expansion into the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) segment, highlighting its growing emphasis on hybrid and electric mobility solutions in Pakistan.
