Jaecoo J5 HEV Debuts in Pakistan With Aggressive Pricing and February 2026 Deliveries
The locally assembled Jaecoo J5 HEV has been introduced with an aggressive pricing strategy, making it more affordable than many hybrid competitors and even some non-hybrid sub-compact SUVs. The company confirmed that the ex-factory prices are inclusive of all taxes, including the NEV levy, ensuring transparency for buyers.
Both the Comfort and Premium variants share the same hybrid powertrain, delivering identical performance and a claimed fuel economy of 18.8 km/l. The difference in pricing comes from equipment levels, with the Premium trim offering enhanced safety features, additional airbags, and cosmetic upgrades compared to the Comfort model.

Bookings are now open with a partial payment requirement of Rs. 1,500,000. Deliveries for the first batch are scheduled to begin in February 2026, while the introductory pricing will remain valid until March 10, 2026. This positions the J5 HEV as a competitive option in Pakistan’s growing hybrid SUV market.
