The three-row Great Tang is the largest SUV under the BYD brand and comes equipped with advanced technologies, including BYD’s Blade Battery 2.0 and 1,000-volt flash charging architecture. The vehicle offers a driving range of up to 950 kilometers on a single charge, while its fast-charging system can recharge the battery from 10% to 70% in just five minutes. The SUV is available in both single- and dual-motor versions, with prices in China starting at approximately $35,500.
Inside, the Great Tang features a luxury-focused cabin with multiple digital displays, captain-style seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, and a large rear entertainment screen. The SUV also includes BYD’s God’s Eye 5.0 driver assistance system, offering features such as navigation assistance, adaptive cruise control, remote parking, and 360-degree cameras. With dimensions larger than many rival electric SUVs, BYD aims to challenge premium brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volvo, and Audi in global markets.
